During the Jubilee year, in a spirit of ecumenism, St.
Demetrius Church will invite area congregations of various
denominations to learn about our faith and community. One of
the activities currently planned is to invite one
congregation per month to celebrate a liturgy with us. We
will require parish volunteers to accompany the guests to
provide information and answer questions. Information
meetings will be held for the volunteers to provide guidance
and discuss ideas for other interfaith activities, such as
guest speakers and evening vespers. |
